Of all the countless stars above...

Среди бесчисленных светил…

Of all the countless stars above
I’ve chosen this, our world so gloomy.
And in this world I’ve come to love
Some cheerful pathways set before me.

And when an unexpected grief
My soul in secret starts assailing,
I peer into sky’s cloudy reef
Until my soul-deep smile’s unveiling.

And if at times when I’m asleep
I dream about sweet native places,
An unexpected awe I reap
In finding that my heart still races.

Oh, it was all so long ago
Out there beyond, in dark’s expanses –
Where do I sail, and how, below?
It’s no big deal. I’ll take my chances.

It Was Not Once

It was not only once, it will go this way, / In our fight, which is deaf and destroying: / As it happened before, you rebuffed me today - / To return, like a slave, by the morning. / / Therefore, don’t be stressed, my inimical friend, / My friend - enemy, caught by black laces, ...

Like Undistinguishable Horses…

Like undistinguishable horses, / Gleam by my ever-painful days, / As if fade all the living roses, / And die all living nightingales. / / But she is, too, upset and saddened, / My single governess - my love, / And under her skin of a satin, / The poisoned blood is now moved. / ...
