Hatodik érzék

Шестое чувство

Jók a belénk szerelmes óborok,
Jó a kenyér, mely értünk száll a tûzbe,
S az asszony, aki kínul adatott,
S hogy kínunkat gyönyörrel messze ûzze.

De mit tegyünk a jéggé dermedett
Egek fölött rózsálló pirkadattal,
Amelyben túlvilági csend lebeg,
Mit tehetünk e halhatatlan dallal?

Nem falhatod fel, nem ölelheted,
Elszáll a pillanat megfoghatatlan,
S te újra csak a kezed tördeled,
Nem éred el, csak nézed, míg kilobban.

Mint kisfiú, ki fürdõ lányokat
Lesett ki, és — játékait feledve —
Váratlanul rejtelmes vágyakat
Érez, a szerelemrõl mit se sejtve;

Mint egykoron a zsurló-rengeteg
Ölén, gyámoltalanságát belátva,
Bõgött a síkos teremtmény, kinek
Vállán sarjadni készült már a szárnya;

Vajúdó testünk, lelkünk úgy sikolt,
Természet s mûvészet szikéje vágja, —
Uram, meddig kell várni még, mikor
Jön hatodik érzékszervünk világra?
