Kráľovná

Царица

V čele máš z bronzu liate lokne,
oči jak ostrie fleuretu,
na tvoju počesť kládli ohne
hĺbaví mnísi z Tibetu.

Keď Timur plný smutnej zloby
ľudí hnal k cieľom v éteri,
niesli ťa v pustatine Gobi
na jeho štíte, címeri.

Do Agry ako dávna Lilit
si vošla svetlom zaliata,
veselým oslom zazvonili
kopytá vkuté do zlata.

Bolo počuť len vzlykať kvety
v podvečer, keď zem mlčala,
a ešte ako chrobač letí
od zeleného kanála.

V úctivom predklone som hľadal
v diamantovej tvári kaz,
nado mnou bola kolonáda
a mal som rúcho ako kňaz.

Luky jak dúhy vyzerali,
ja ctil som voľnosť starých čias,
vediac, že nepohnú sa svaly,
no šípy dostihnú ťa raz.

Minulosť rozhorí sa opäť:
veselie v húští aloe,
kňazi, čo prinášajú obeť,
dni prehýrené na love.

A tvoje ústa, krivka strohá,
skrývali v sebe toľko múk,
že objavil som v tebe Boha
a z rúk som placho pustil luk.

Zbadal som, že sa ku mne ženie
luza, čo vrela, kričala…
Ty smiala si sa pobavene
vražednej sile kindžala.
